I can't tell you excatly why but it's a fact that I'm doing waay better with this deck than recruit warrior. No early game, limited armor gain, no card draw.
Looks pretty bad. Looks like big druid without ramp or UI. Could be fun when it high rolls but I don't see it being anywhere near consistent enough for true ladder potential.
Try it if you can and you will be amazed. I started playing it as a joke but it's doing better than my recruit warrior with dropship brawl etc.
Also your early game is: remove your opponents stuff, armor up every turn, play the relatively cheap whirlwind weapons and the actually cheap bladed gauntlet and get some cheap dragons off of Dragon roar :.
So if this ramshackle deck is better than Odd Warrior, which all pros are sure of, show us your win rate and rank with it. Archmage Antonidas.

If you face a lot of control warlocks on ladder and often end up going to fatigue, consider teching in a Dead Man's Hand which will allow you to recruit without falling behind in fatigue.
Tempo mage plays few early game minions and then a lot of burn damage. If you can deal with the early game via use of your weapons, you should easily be able to stabilize through hero powers and armour gain.
Woecleaver plays around Psychic Scream very well whilst putting the priest under a lot of pressure. They usually only run 1 weapon removal if any.
Outside of them having an insane early curve into Shadowreaper Anduin you should be able to either pressure them down or armour up out of range.
Against spiteful druid once you're ahead on board it should be fairly easy to stay ahead. Getting to that point requires taking quite a lot of face damage whilst you try to get enough tempo to get the druid off the board.
Once that happens you should worry about dying to potential burst damage such as Ultimate Infestation , Leeroy Jenkins and Spellbreaker or combinations of the three.
Spiteful has two ways to win: early board into Fungalmancer or a Spiteful Summoner that goes unanswered.
As long as you can deal with them the matchup should be pretty easy. Half your games will be spent on the coin and I would heavily advise against using the coin early on unless you're absolutely forced into it.
It is often much better to spend the first few turns hero powering, combined with weapons and then using the coin on turn 5 to go 6 drop into 6 drop, or naturally playing your turn 6 into a coin 8 drop.
Depending on your hand it will determine which route you take. Once you've used your coin, you want to be doing power play after power play.
Hope you guys enjoyed this somewhat long guide, I'll be happy to answer questions in the comments. Have fun with the deck, I really loved climbing to legend with it and I'm sure you will too!
Reason for changing, I don't have those cards : Seems to work pretty well for me except the early game can be quite scary. Suprisingly good.
I was at floor of rank 5, so I decided to mess around, and I actually managed to climb to rank 4 with only 2 losses. Turns out armoring for 1 mana helps mitigate the problem of waiting 6 turns before you can hope to make any power play.
Normal big recruit warrior, which I also tried, just turns out too clunky and awkward in trying to curve out, as you either lose the board or lose a lot of health before being able to clear the board.
Armouring up for 1 mana allows you to do have a healthy amount of armour while also keeping the board relatively manageable until your power plays.
I was looking into some stats as I run the non even version and for some small ups and downs the decks seem to perform almost identically except vs.
I am not entirely sure what causes the differences in stats as I kinda would like to try the even version but with the ladder being full of Taunt Druid and Miracle that both seem to be bad matchups for this deck Been trying to make Even Recruit Warrior work for a bit, honestly didn't consider using Gemstudded Golem at all.
It's easy to forget that it's practically a cheaper Furious Ettin if you ignore the downside which is kind of easy in a deck that either gets armor easily or just wants a solid taunt.
I find it interesting that you value Primordial Drake over Charged Devilsaur, although it's probably because I love the Rush mechanic, and I've had far too many games where a life-saving Taunt minion is simply slapped aside.
Normally I will give a deck at least games before I rule it in or out, but this deck is clunky, awkward and just doesn't really work in the current meta on a larger scope.
Funny, I had okay matchups with Even Pally even before the nerf. Not saying your bad experience is invalid, meta decks are always gonna be tough.
This is a fun deck to play but I am not finding it effective for getting about rank 8. In general I find that the deck is too slow.

If yes, do you have suggestions? Rag is always a good addition to these decks. So is Y'Shaarj. And they are both even costed.
Yip isn't very important anyways.
